I started drawing, had the best apple pie in my life, and ended up drinking with all the staff which made me feel like I was an old friend getting home. I’m terrible with names but we took a photo and every person in it made me love Amsterdam and its people. For sure my coffee in town and I’ll be back hugs from Argentina ???????? Luli ”

“ We stopped by for some coffee and apple pie, for which this place is famous. We found it to be a beautiful atmospheric little “brown”cafe which had an authentic 1950s feel in the decor and the furniture, save of course for the flat screen TV on the wall out the back. Anyway the apple pie was delicious, freshly made with a hint of cinnamon and cloves. Yum! It’s off the beaten track but well worth the schlep. ”

The right amount of sweet with a good crust. There's a really great farmer's market that sets up right outside the restaurant on Saturday mornings.
